Office Assistant

Part Time (Monthly Salary)

Salary is from £8.21 with benefits

Responsible for clerical assistance to the operations group in the delivery of remittance information and services to clients and other interested parties.

- Answers incoming calls and notes down remittance instructions from clients.

- Promptly forwards all remittance instruction forms to the Supervising Officer for Remittance Operations.

- Responds to phone queries of prospective client on services being offered by Metro Remittance (UK) Limited.

- Provides clients, upon proper identification, on information relative to the status of already processed remittances.

- Documents requests from phoning clients for return calls from other employees, and promptly informs the staff involved.

- Documents requests from phoning clients for amendments to previous remittance instructions or for remittance certificates; advises said clients of applicable charges, if any.

- Assists in arranging remittance receipts into envelopes, for mailing and for subsequent franking and posting.

- Assists in filing of client documents intended for permanent retention.

- Keeps abreast with regulatory requirements including but not limited to Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Terrorist Financing Regulations of both the local and Philippine governments, through participation on seminars and trainings provided by the company.

- Performs such other duties as may reasonably be required from time to time by the Supervisor or Officer on Duty

Customer Specialist

Part Time (Monthly Salary)

Responsible for the screening of Remitters and for the accurate encoding and processing of Remitters’ data and transactions.

- Evaluates customers’ information by checking the Remittance Agreement and Application Form (RAAF) as to completeness and accuracy of details.

- Encodes remittance information/transactions in the Remittance System.

- Discharges functions in accordance with system access rights defined by IOSG.

- Accounts for cash collections.

- Conducts the KYC and due diligence functions for new remitters and existing clients to ensure compliance with Anti-Money Laundering laws.

- Entertains/attends to or provides assistance and support to Remitters’ queries, concerns, and complaints.

- Prepares tracers to ensure that remittances are paid within established turnaround time.

- Reconciles/balances posted online transactions sent to Head Office.

- Prepares various daily/monthly reports, tracers, statistics, and other related materials for coordination/submission to the required parties.

- Promotes the Company’s products and services.

- Files the documents (i.e., RAAF, Daily Prooflist and/or Abstract of Remittance, etc.) for trail.

- Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Marketing Assistant

Full Time (Monthly Salary)

Responsible for soliciting new customers, and maintaining existing clients; Events planning, and tie-ups with other companies/ organizations to promote MRUK.

- Markets, advertises and promotes remittance services. Digital marketing knowledge is an advantage.

- Must have knowledge with graphic designing.

- Manages/arranges marketing tie-ups with other companies.

- Conducts client calls to scout for new clients so as to increase client base and maintain good relations with existing clients.

- Assists in customer queries and complaints.

- Prepares monthly report to Head Office.

- Prepares call memos and files them.

- Responsible for telemarketing activities.

- Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
